Coffs Harbour District Family History Society Inc.

The Coffs Harbour District Family History Society was formed in July 1984 with the aim of helping the residents of the Coffs Harbour District to research the Family History. The Society promotes and encourages the study and preservation of family histories and allied subjects. We are able to offer members the use of an extensive collection of genealogical materials from Australia and overseas, as well as the skills and experience and other members.
The Society is situated at the rear of 169 Rose Avenue in Coffs Harbour and is open to the members and the public on Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday, and Saturday from 10:00am to 04:00pm (except the 4th Saturday of each month from mid January to 2nd week in December).
Membership fees are $40 per year to join and $7 per half day (3 hours) or $14 for full day (6 hours) for casual visitors.
The Society has subscriptions to Ancestry.com; FindMyPast; The Genealogist. Other resources are Births, Deaths, and Marriages for all States; NSW State Records for shipping, convicts etc; FamilySearch.org and many more. An extensive Library is available for members.
