Coffs Coast Cycle Challenge

NAB Coffs Coast Cycle Challenge 2013

Entertainment attractions on the day for the family will be advised

The Event is a ride of 100 kilometres starting and finishing at the Coffs Harbour Jetty Foreshores.

The 2013 Challenge, being held on the 4th August, will have eight different categories to enter suiting all cyclists.

Eight Levels of Entry:

Coffs Harbour Mountain Bikers

Coffs Harbour Mountain Bikers are out on the trails year round. We meet regularly for casual relaxed racing at the Coffs Harbour Mountain Bike Park (see below), as well as supporting other clubs in the region. Most days of the week there are groups of casual riders out enjoying the trails. Check out facebook to see what we're up to.
We are part of the much larger Coffs Harbour Cycle Club which covers cycling disciplines such as road, track and crit racing.

Solitary Island Underwater Research Group

The Solitary Islands Underwater Research Group Inc. (SURG), is a group of dedicated volunteers conducting research in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Formed in 1985, SURG membership is comprised of underwater naturalists, photographers and scuba divers, and our research provides habitat information and other data which may be used for the ongoing management of the Solitary Islands Marine Park.

Walking For Pleasure WFP

Volunteer leaders host a casual walking group alternate Sundays.
All walks are in the Coffs Coast area between Woolgoolga in the north and Nambucca to the south. A schedule of walks is available from coffscoasting@gmail.com or in hard copy from the walk leaders. Most walks are easy, of approx 2.5hours through coastal and village environments. All walks commence from picnic facilities and offer an optional BYO picnic after with the social group. Some walks have access to Fish 'n' Chips stop or BBQs.
