Australian Breastfeeding Association - Coffs Harbour/Sawtell Group

ABA is a voluntary, self help organisation that promotes and supports breastfeeding. Whether you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have weaned, you are welcome at the Australian Breastfeeding Association!

Coffs Harbour group holds regular gatherings that offer a relaxed and informal way to meet other mothers. There is always a breastfeeding counsellor present at meetings to answer breastfeeding questions.

Bonville Sawtell Lions Club

Bonville Sawtell Lions Club are part of the worlds biggest Service Club, Lions International . The Club raises funds Locally to support Lions Foundations for Disaster Relief, Save Sight, Cancer Research, Spinal Research.

The Club also provides Financial and Physical support for Local Groups and individuals particularly Youth and the Elderly

Carers Craft Studio

If you look after a family member or friend with a disability, mental illness, drug or alcohol dependency, chronic condition, terminal illness or who is frail, you are a carer.

Carers NSW provides a craft studio for carers one day per week in Coffs Harbour and fortnightly in Bellingen.
All materials are free of charge and there is amply supplies to come and create whatever you feel like on the day.
No skill level required!

Tax deductible charity run by volunteers who work together to help less fortunate women and young people living in the Coffs Harbour area to improve their lives

Coffs City Choir

Coffs City Choir ( CCC ) performed their first concert under the direction of Hal Evans at the Jetty Memorial Theatre on 29/6/1991 and continues to entertain the Coffs community over 25 years later.

Our audiences include aged care facilities, entertainment for local civic organisations, seasonal concerts for hospitals and churches and community events. The choir has also performed concerts for organisations to raise awareness and to generate funds for a worthwhile cause.

Coffs City Evening View Club

Coffs City Evening View Club meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month for a Dinner/Meeting at the C-ex Club Coffs at 6.30pm

View (Voice Interests and Education of Women) provides support and friendship for women throughout communities nationally.

View actively raises awareness of and participates in the work of The Smith Family and "Learning for Life" programmes.

Coffs Coast Apex Toy Library

The Coffs Coast Apex Toy Library Inc. is a non-profit organisation which first started in 1983.

The Toy Library is run by volunteers and allows families/playgroups to save money and keep thier children happy by borrowing toys rather than buying them. It's a place where everything from board games, to puzzles, bikes and trucks, to toy kitchens, toy washing machines and kids size clothes lines are available to borrow.
Membership is available for 6 months or 12 months with discount's for Volunteers/Grandparents and Health Care Card Holders.

The Event is a ride of 100 kilometres starting and finishing at the Coffs Harbour Jetty Foreshores.

The 2013 Challenge, being held on the 4th August, will have eight different categories to enter suiting all cyclists.

The Deaf Community and friends meet each Wednesday.

AUSLAN is the official Australian Sign Language for deaf and hearing impaired people.

We have AUSLAN classes which anyone can come along to. Morning tea is provided.

Where: Boambee Community Hall, Bruce King Drive, Boambee East.

Coffs Coast Tigers Football Club

We are a not for profit local sporting group. The Family Club – Uniting Community Through Football Since 1977. Our Club prides itself on our well maintained and presented sporting facilities. Our focus is on families, fun and the community. We have a large junior base which we hope will continue to grow in the future. Our junior and senior teams are filled with talented and dedicated boys/ girls, men and women all with a passion for football. Our home is located at the Polwarth Drive sporting Fields in Coffs Harbour (The Lair). All new and existing members are welcome anytime.

Helping patients and families attending the North Coast Cancer Institute who are suffering financial hardship. We provide payments of up to $500 for fuel, food and household bills.

Excessive fear, obsessive thinking, irritability, physical symptoms such as hot or cold flushes, a tightening of the chest, a racing heart or breathlessness; these are some of the signs experienced by people with anxiety. And this should not be accepted as anyone's "normal”.

Coffs Harbour Centenary Of Rail/Smoke On The Water Festival

To commemorate the arrival of the first train to Coffs Harbour and the progress that rail brought to a previously isolated community.

The commemoration will take full advantage of Coffs Harbour's geographic gift in having a Railway, Working Harbour, National Highway and International Airport all in close proximity.

To fully take advantage of Coffs Harbour's geographic gift it is planned to simultaneously host Tall Ships, Vintage Trains, Vintage Road Transport and Vintage Aircraft.
