Coffs Harbour Regional Landcare

Landcare is a unique Australian movement that harnesses individuals and groups under the ethic of caring for the land and encompasses individuals and groups across the whole landscape from coastal to urban and remote areas of Australia. Landcare groups and Landcare projects are typically identified as being rural, regional or agricultural in nature. Landcare groups characteristically consist of "Friends of..." groups, community environmental groups, land managers or land owners such as farmers or primary producers.

Coffs Regional Community Gardens

The Coffs Community Gardens site is located on the Eastern side of the Combine St. Reserve, Combine St. on part Lot DP533050, part Lot DP243762 and part Lot DP791146. We can be found on Google Maps as 53 Combine St., Coffs Harbour. We incorporate garden areas, individual plots, a mandella style garden, food forests and fruit tree orchard, native plants, exotic plants, a covered meeting space, water capture and recycling systems, an aquaponics system, solar power system, and composting toilet.

Girl Guides - Coffs Harbour District

Coffs Harbour Girls Guides are part of Girl Guides NSW & ACT, which with other state organisations makes up Girl Guides Australia, which in turn is a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girls Scouts! Join is and be part of a worl-world movement with over 10 million members!!

Our Mission is to enable girls and young women to grow into confident, self respecting, responsible community members.
Girls of 5 to 18 years have fun and learn skills that develop their self-confidence and community responsibility.

Jetty Dunecare Group Inc

Caring for our foreshores, from Coffs Creek to north Boambee Beach. We meet every Tuesday and sometimes on the weekends and with other community groups.

Mid North Coast Organics Inc.

Mid North Coast Organics is a not for profit farmers' organisation which was formed to support commercial organic and bio-dynamic producers, facilitate a network of producers and promote the sharing and dissemination of information.

Throughout the year we run field days and have both local and interstate guest speakers. This enables like minded farmers to discuss local issues and work together through tough times. We also produce a quarterly newsletter to share knowledge throughout the region.

Our Living Coast

Three Councils on the Mid North Coast – Coffs Harbour City Council, Bellingen Shire Council and Nambucca Shire Council – have formed an alliance to work together with residents towards a more sustainable region. The alliance has developed the Our Living Coast project and has obtained funding from the NSW Government to begin a number of exciting projects.

Park Beach Dunecare

Volunteers practising bush regeneration techniques such as weeding, mulching, planting native species and some rubbish removal in the Park Beach area on Friday mornings at 9am in between the Hoey Moey and the Bowling Club at the moment. Come along!

Solitary Island Underwater Research Group

The Solitary Islands Underwater Research Group Inc. (SURG), is a group of dedicated volunteers conducting research in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Formed in 1985, SURG membership is comprised of underwater naturalists, photographers and scuba divers, and our research provides habitat information and other data which may be used for the ongoing management of the Solitary Islands Marine Park.

Ulitarra Conservation Society Inc.

We acknowledge the traditional lands of the Gumbaynggirr people

“Ulitarra Bushwalkers” and “Ulitarra Mid-Week Walkers” are sub-groups of the Ulitarra Conservation Society Incorporated, a local conservation organisation dedicated to the preservation of our environment. The society was founded in1971and aims to provide education in natural history together with a voice on matters of conservation and environmental concern. Since 1980, a diverse range of walks and camps have been enjoyed.
