Harbourside Markets - the Better Together Seniors Festival

Council and the markets are excited to present this joint celebration as part of the regions Seniors Week events. The Better Together Seniors Celebration is a themed market and will look at seniors and retirees coming into their creative & energetic element as they find time to finally sink their teeth into productive interests, passions and creativity like never before. This market will showcase that energy, freedom and creativity with stalls for Seniors to showcase their hobbies, projects and products. Community-minded organisations and groups will showcase the ‘seniors friendly’ opportunities they have on offer for seniors looking to deepen their connection.

All this as well as the regular Sunday offerings at Harbourside Markets. An established local weekly makers and growers market situated alongside historic Coffs Harbour jetty.

Musical performances and onstage entertainment on the day will be tailored to appeal to and showcase seniors audience.
The stage performance program as follows (subject to change as new performers confirm):
9.30am - Coffs Harbour Big Boogie Band
10.30am - Marian Grove Ukulele Group
11.15am - Coffs Harbour City Choir
12noon - Coffs Harbour Big Boogie Band
12.45pm - Seussical Musical Preview by Coffs Harbour Musical Comedy Company.
1pm - Coffs Harbour Big Boogie Band

• Art Gallery Group displays
• Plywood Pirates – canoe hobbyists
• U3A – mahjong, chess and scrabble games
• Over 50's Table Tennis Club – demonstrations & information.
• Dragon Boat Club
• Marika Braak and Maitoumbi – yoga, movement & dance workshops/demonstrations for seniors.
- The cup of gratitude morning & afternoon tea prepared and served by local girl guides.

Wheelchair friendly / Undercover seating provided
