Date & time: Friday April 13 at 9:30am - 2pm
Location: The Village Green, Grove Café and in the Recreational Hall at Marian Grove, Marian Place, Toormina.

To mark the 60th year of NSW Seniors Festival, we’re “Making Magic” at Sawtell Catholic Care of the Aged - Creative Ageing Magic that is!
- Learn how to be a PD Warrior with movement 9.30 - 10.00am.
- Sing along with our Marian Grove Groovers Choir for a special open rehearsal session 10.00 - 11.30am.
- Enjoy music from our very own Marian Grove Ukulele Group and delicious specials in the Café from 11.30 - 12.30pm.
- Find out about our planned Creative Ageing Hub and the many opportunities it will offer to the community.
- and last but by no means least, be a part of our first SCCA Radical Ageing Project “There’s No Age Limit on Purpose, Passion and Creativity”.
Funded by Coffs Harbour City Council and NSW Seniors Festival, this truly inclusive project involves participants from across the community, U3A, TAFE, local businesses, SCCA residents and inspirational older members of our community, aligning with the “Let’s do more Together” theme of Seniors Festival 2018.
We are hosting a photo booth from 11.30 - 2pm in our Recreation Hall for the launch of the project. Dress up, make some magic and have some fun as well as challenging the myths and stereotypes around ageing and older people. The collection of photos(with permission) will become part of a website, calendar and an exhibition to be shown at local venues and will grow over time, celebrating the rich and diverse lives of our local older people and to show that there really is NO age limit on passion, purpose and creativity.
