Water Safety Fund Community Grants Program applications now open!

Primary tabs

The Water Safety Fund Community Grants Program supports community efforts to reduce drowning deaths and improve water safety in ocean and freshwater systems with a total funding commitment of $4.5m over three years. The Fund will be supporting projects that increase water safety in high risk geographical locations, population groups and activities building on the work achieved by the Water Safety Black Spots Fund (2011-2015).

Funding decisions will look at alignment of proposals with the key priorities in the Australian Water Safety Strategy 2016-2020 and applications will require data and research that indicates areas of high risk to NSW.

Applications are now open and will close at COB on 9 December 2016.
