Rock fillets for fish fillets (with reef ball entrée!) field day

Friday June 6th 9.30am – 1.30pm – Mylestom Community Hall (River St, Mylestom)
The day will feature presentations on the project works as well as ‘walk and talk’ guided tour of completed sites. Morning tea and a barbeque lunch will be provided. Anyone interested in the river, fishing and the local environment will find this field day fascinating. A WORKSHOP WTH IRONWOOD: COFFS CONSERVATORIUM

Ironwood is an Australian-based ensemble committed to exploring music of the baroque, classical and romantic periods on early string and keyboard instruments. The members are some of Australia’s most respected early and contemporary chamber musicians. The ensemble was established in 2006 as a flexible group of players, drawing on a wealth of experience from across the globe. Ironwood believe that historically informed performance should be complimented with new material and has an active commissioning program for music on early instruments.

YOUNG ARTISTS ! BE PART OF FRUGAL FOREST PROJECT…

HEY YOUNG ARTISTS!  One Off Makery is looking for creative young minds to be a part of the Frugal Forest Project. Artists, musicians and scientists across the Mid North Coast are building an intricately detailed forest entirely from salvage, which will premiere at the Glasshouse Port Macquarie in 2016. Why? Because nothing is wasted in the forest, and we could really learn from that.

FREE DIGITAL WORKSHOPS: DORRIGO, BELLINGEN, URUNGA

The workshops are proudly supported by Bellingen Shire Council and will be held throughout June.  The workshops are aligned to Bellingen Shire’s Community Vision 2030 – under “Resilient Economy” where, through partnerships, we support and influence innovative and alternative trading systems.  We are very happy to be delivering these workshops in cooperation with our partners, North Coast Institute of  TAFE, ETC, Coffs Harbour City Council and the Australian Government’s Digital Enterprise Program.

The Yarrhapinni Festival is a biennial festival held at Stuarts Point over three days on the last weekend in August in even years.
Its an even year so the festival is on 29/30/31 August 2014. The festival kicks of with an opening night and opening of the art exhibition at the Stuarts Point Community Hall on Friday 29 August 2014.
