AMNC NEW LOOK WEBSITE!

Yes we have a new look website, but it is more than just a fresh look. The first stage is a major focus on showcasing the artistic and creative features of our region, both to the visitor and to locals. This can be seen in the 12 Cultural Trails which have increased the 39 featured activities and attractions on the previous site to 342 and rising. Did you know our region receives around 3.5 million overnight visitors a year (13 million visitor nights) to add to our local population of nearly 300,000?

Bees and Honey Workshop

Come along to the Coffs Regional Community Gardens on Sunday morning and learn from the bee and honey experts Frank and Faye, who have over 40 years experience in bee keeping.

* Appreciate the value of honeybees in pollinating food crops

Antarctic Beech Tree

Walking through the Springbrook National Park on the 'Best of All' walking trail there can be found the most amazing tree. This southern beech tree (Nothofagus spp.) evolved some 100 million years ago, when dinosaurs roamed and Australia was still part of the super continent, Gondwana.

Qld Rose Society Autumn Show

President Geoff was delighted to attend the recent Autumn Show for the Qld Rose Society at Mt Coot-tha Botanic Garden.Carmel Yelland and Geoff Bell standing near a stunning vase of 'Seduction' which was a winner at the Show.The show was well attended with wonderful displays of roses, the Society would have to be pleased that it was such a successful event.
