Coffs Harbour Employment Support Service - CHESS

CHESS is a specialised employment service that provides free assistance to people with a mental health diagnosis to gain and maintain full-time, part-time and casual employment.

Commonwealth Respite & Carelink Centre MNC

RESPITE SERVICE: 24 hour respite service. Provides information/advice to carers about respite options, plus referral to services. Coordinates short term emergency or planned respite. Purchases respite when there is no alternative. Out of hours service ie. nights/weekends and phone for crisis situations. Also have 16 Consumer Directed Care Packages for Carers of a person who is frail aged or has dementia.

CRS Australia

CRS Australia's primary role when providing disability management services is to help people with a disability, injury or health condition to choose, get and keep employment. We:
*Assess a person's rehabilitation and employment assistance needs
*Develop and manage individually tailored rehabilitation programs
*Draw up a written rehabilitation plan together with our clients, describing the steps that will be taken with them to reach their goal
*Work with clients to maximise their participation and employability.

ETC – Enterprise & Training Company Limited – specialises in the delivery of employment, training and business services. ETC has been operating on the Mid North Coast of NSW for the past 23 years and services suburbs and towns along the East Coast of Australia between Sydney and the Gold Coast. ETC is a Job Services Australia Provider (JSA), Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and a provider of Small Biz Connect. As a not-for-profit company, any surplus from ETC’s operations is reinvested back into the company and the community.

HVTC North Coast

Established in 1987 and based in Coffs Harbour, HVTC North Coast (previously North Coast Group Training) is HVTC’s Division providing group training services in the North Coast region of NSW. HVTC North Coast is the region’s leading Group Training Company with a core business of selection, induction and employment of apprentices and trainees, and their placement with selected Host Employers.

Spinal Cord Injuries Australia (SCIA) was formed in 1967 by a group of young men with a severe disability who wanted to change the world. They set about demanding that they be able to live lives no different from anyone else.
SCIA is a member-based social enterprise with a majority of people with a disability amongst the staff and directors.
Our objectives as an organisation are twofold:
* To provide support to people with a disability to remain actively involved in personal, social and vocational activities.

Women On Boards Mid North Coast

Women on Boards Mid North Coast (WOBMNC) is working towards improving the gender balance on Australian boards in a regional setting.
WOBMNC is partnering with the corporate, government and non-profit sectors to hold events, host training programs, and create opportunities for women to be coached and mentored into career and director roles.
