Bananacoast Home Nursing & Respite Care

Bananacoast Home Nursing & Respite Care provides professional nursing, respite and disability support services. We service Coffs Harbour, Grafton, Newcastle and the Central Coast. We supply a full range of nursing , respite and child welfare services (including supervised visits and respite for foster carers) as well as medical oxygen and CPAP Services in the Coffs Harbour and Grafton areas only.

We can also support your service with training and education (including Mental Health First Aid) and hire out our well equipped training room to other agencies.

Coffs Coast Autism

Coffs Coast Autism is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers from families living with Autism, to support other families living with Autism within the Coffs Coast region.

It is our Aim to:

•Support and inform Parents and Families who are new to the world of Autism

•Provide ongoing support to Parents and Families

•Share strategies and ideas

•Lobby for Autism Services on the Mid North Coast

•Raise funds for Autism Services on the Mid North Coast

Coffs Coast Toy Library

The Coffs Coast Toy Library
The Toy Library is run by a local family and allows families / playgroups to save money and keep their children happy by borrowing toys rather than buying them. It's a place where everything from puzzles, bikes and trucks, to toy kitchens, toy washing machines and kids size clothes lines are available to borrow.
The Toy Library is open every Monday to Friday from 9am - 5pm, closed for lunch 12-1pm

Commonwealth Respite & Carelink Centre MNC

RESPITE SERVICE: 24 hour respite service. Provides information/advice to carers about respite options, plus referral to services. Coordinates short term emergency or planned respite. Purchases respite when there is no alternative. Out of hours service ie. nights/weekends and phone for crisis situations. Also have 16 Consumer Directed Care Packages for Carers of a person who is frail aged or has dementia.

Counselling Services Incorporation (CSI)

Counselling Services Incorporation (CSI) is a volunteer organisation, offering free, unlimited and confidential counselling sessions by trained counsellors and provisional psychologists to everybody (individuals, couples and families) in the community. We operate at neighbourhood centres in the Coffs Harbour area. Referrals and self-referrals are welcome.

Country Cubs Preschool & Outside School Hours Care

The service has been operating for over 10 years. The Preschool is licensed for 39 children per day, caring for children 2-5 years. The Outside School Hours Care is licensed for 39 children per day, caring for children 5-12 years.

We operate for 51 weeks per year, the centre closes for 1 week over the Christmas period. We are open from 7.30am - 6.30pm. The centre is closed for all Public Holidays.
Our service includes, Preschool, Long Day Care and Outside School Hours Care- including: Before and After School Care, Pupil Free days and Vacation Care.

Cow & Koala Professional Childcare

Cow & Koala is dedicated to creating and maintaining a safe, home-like, friendly and hygienic environment that fosters children’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs, and respects their dignity and individuality. This will be done in consultation and cooperation with the parents.

Early Childhood Intervention Program

The Early Childhood Intervention Program is a service that provides education and therapy programs for preschool aged children (0-6 years) with disabilities/developmental delay, and their families in the Coffs Harbour and Bellingen Shires. Families can self refer by phoning the Service or can be referred , in consultation with the family, by other services. The Program provides Developmental Assessments, small group sessions, preschool support, home visits, individual sessions, community education, playgroup and aqua exercise and liason with other relevent services.

Friends of the Family Incorporated

We are a family support service providing emergency food relief and practical and emotional help for families in Coffs Harbour, Toormina, Sawtell and Boambee NSW

Gambling Help

Specialist counselling for people with gambling problems and their families. Free, confidential and experienced professionals available Monday to Friday during business hours. Outreach is also available in Woolgoolga.
Financial counselling available Wednesday and Thursday - free and confidential.
For services outside office hours contact Gambling Help by phone on 1800 858 858. This is available 24 hours.
Gambling Help Online is available to provide 24 hour counselling on-line in real time www.gamblinghelp.nsw.gov.au.

Harry Bailey Memorial Library

Central library of Coffs Harbour City Library and Information Service (Coffs Harbour City Council).

Free membership, loans, public access computers, free wifi/internet, study areas and printing/copying/scanning facilities.

Weekly children's storytime, early literacy programs, home library service for housebound residents, reference service, inter-library loans and regular programs and events - such as author talks and holiday activities. Annual Summer Reading Club for children in December/January.

headspace Mid North Coast

headspace Mid North Coast helps young people aged 12 - 25 going through a tough time by providing access to youth friendly general health, counselling and wellbeing services offered by youth friendly doctors, psychologists, counsellors, mental health nurses, psychiatrists and youth workers.

headspace MNC is a voluntary, early intervention service open Monday - Thursday, 9am to 5pm and Friday, 8:30 to 4:30pm and temporarily located at the Womens Health Centre at 74 Victoria Street.

Healthy Mobility is a locally owned and operated Healthcare Equipment business.
We sell and hire mobility and healthcare equipment and aids including wheelchairs, crutches, walking frames, shower and toilet commodes and chairs, pressure care, power lift chairs, orthopedic braces and more....

We also provide professional service and advice by an experienced physiotherapy team to fit the right equipment for your needs. We offer FREE measurement and fitting of compression stockings and FREE fitting of orthopedic knee braces and cam boots. No appointment necessary.
