Commonwealth Respite & Carelink Centre MNC

RESPITE SERVICE: 24 hour respite service. Provides information/advice to carers about respite options, plus referral to services. Coordinates short term emergency or planned respite. Purchases respite when there is no alternative. Out of hours service ie. nights/weekends and phone for crisis situations. Also have 16 Consumer Directed Care Packages for Carers of a person who is frail aged or has dementia.

Counselling Services Incorporation (CSI)

Counselling Services Incorporation (CSI) is a volunteer organisation, offering free, unlimited and confidential counselling sessions by trained counsellors and provisional psychologists to everybody (individuals, couples and families) in the community. We operate at neighbourhood centres in the Coffs Harbour area. Referrals and self-referrals are welcome.

Galambila Aboriginal Health Service Incorporated

Galambila Aboriginal Health Service Incorporated aims to be the peak provider of high quality, culturally appropriate holistic primary health and related care services for Galambila's service communities of Coffs Harbour, Urunga, Bellingen/Dorrigo, Woolgoolga, Corindi and Ulung. Our service operates from Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and provides access to General Practitioners, Aboriginal Health Workers, various medical specialists and allied health professionals. headspace Mid North Coast

headspace Mid North Coast helps young people aged 12 - 25 going through a tough time by providing access to youth friendly general health, counselling and wellbeing services offered by youth friendly doctors, psychologists, counsellors, mental health nurses, psychiatrists and youth workers.

headspace MNC is a voluntary, early intervention service open Monday - Thursday, 9am to 5pm and Friday, 8:30 to 4:30pm and temporarily located at the Womens Health Centre at 74 Victoria Street.

Lifeline North Coast

Lifeline North Coast (NSW) provides a telephone crisis support service. The service is delivered by volunteers who are skilled and equipped to assist those who call by providing support to people in crisis and referral options.

This service has been operating in Coffs Harbour for over 25 years. We also have a sub-centre in Grafton.

Relationship Counselling - Frances Amaroux

Frances Amaroux has been an individual and couples therapist since 1991.(i.e. over 25 years). Empathetic, open-minded and non-judgmental - she connects to each client with a balance of warmth, humour and deep respect. She balances a practical, down–to-earth approach, whilst also utilizing the unconscious mind, and energy psychology techniques such as Hypnosis, NLP and EFT and the Emotion Code.

She also has a special interest and experience in working with people who have experienced Trauma, PTSD and Chronic Fatigue.

Spinal Cord Injuries Australia

Spinal Cord Injuries Australia (SCIA) was formed in 1967 by a group of young men with a severe disability who wanted to change the world. They set about demanding that they be able to live lives no different from anyone else.
SCIA is a member-based social enterprise with a majority of people with a disability amongst the staff and directors.
Our objectives as an organisation are twofold:
* To provide support to people with a disability to remain actively involved in personal, social and vocational activities.
