Commonwealth Respite & Carelink Centre MNC

RESPITE SERVICE: 24 hour respite service. Provides information/advice to carers about respite options, plus referral to services. Coordinates short term emergency or planned respite. Purchases respite when there is no alternative. Out of hours service ie. nights/weekends and phone for crisis situations. Also have 16 Consumer Directed Care Packages for Carers of a person who is frail aged or has dementia.

Counselling Services Incorporation (CSI)

Counselling Services Incorporation (CSI) is a volunteer organisation, offering free, unlimited and confidential counselling sessions by trained counsellors and provisional psychologists to everybody (individuals, couples and families) in the community. We operate at neighbourhood centres in the Coffs Harbour area. Referrals and self-referrals are welcome.

Home Library Service

Special service of Coffs Harbour City Library (Coffs Harbour City Council).

The library provides a free home delivery service to housebound people in the Coffs Harbour local government area.

Items are delivered and collected every four weeks on a specific day, based on the member's personal profile.

Residents of the Coffs Harbour local government area who cannot visit the library due to ill-health or disability are eligible to join this service. Full time carers of housebound members are also eligible for the service.

Home Nursing Group is a locally-owned and operated Commonwealth Approved Provider of community aged care services with offices in Armidale, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie and Tamworth.
Our Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants-in-Nursing are all highly experienced, fully trained and receive on-going education to maintain their skills.

Lifeline North Coast

Lifeline North Coast (NSW) provides a telephone crisis support service. The service is delivered by volunteers who are skilled and equipped to assist those who call by providing support to people in crisis and referral options.

This service has been operating in Coffs Harbour for over 25 years. We also have a sub-centre in Grafton.

LifeLink provides a range of technology products integrated to an emergency response service to support people with a variety of care needs to live safely and independently in their own home. LifeLink is experienced in assisting and supporting people using a range of specialised products and emergency response services. For senior or disability care needs in the home or where safety in the workplace for isolated staff is paramount, LifeLink can help meet the demands for independence and safety

Spinal Cord Injuries Australia

Spinal Cord Injuries Australia (SCIA) was formed in 1967 by a group of young men with a severe disability who wanted to change the world. They set about demanding that they be able to live lives no different from anyone else.
SCIA is a member-based social enterprise with a majority of people with a disability amongst the staff and directors.
Our objectives as an organisation are twofold:
* To provide support to people with a disability to remain actively involved in personal, social and vocational activities.

Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter

Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our life saving missions have saved over 7000 lives in the northern region of NSW and covers an area of 40,000 sq kms from Nambucca Heads in the south to the Queensland boarder in the north and west to Tenterfield and Glen Innes.

The Service does not charge patients that are transported and fly on average 6-7 missions per week.

Nearly 70%of our annual operating budget is fundraised/donated by the community and corporate sector.
