C.ex Coffs

History of C.ex Group

Coffs Harbour Ex Services Club was born in 1946 by a group of devoted volunteers with a vision of providing a much needed amenity for E-Service personnel and their families, a Club, a Memorial Club in honour of those who served during the war, both overseas and on the mainland. A motion was put forward to build a suitable construction to be known as the Ex-Service Men and Women’s Memorial Club.

C.ex Urunga

C.ex Urunga is the sporting club that caters for everyone with a nine hole golf course overlooking the beautiful Kalang River, squash and tennis courts as well as croquet. Come along for a social game, join a competition or club, or bring the kids along for coaching for squash and tennis.

C.ex Woolgoolga

C.ex Woolgoolga is the bowling club of choice in Woolgoolga, boasting the latest technology in synthetic greens, modern and stylish interior furnishings and Walter’s Bistro which serves authentic Chinese and Western cuisine. Members and guests will love the comfortable new furnishings of C.ex Woolgoolga in its bar, TAB, lounge and bistro areas.

Coffs Harbour Meals on Wheels Inc.

Coffs Harbour Meals on Wheels Inc service the community by delivering meals to frail aged people and younger people with disabilities and their carers. We have a great range of frozen meals with a menu choice.
Meal, sweet, soup and jucie are priced at $7.00. Meal only is $5.50

Chill Out Cafe alos operates at the Community Village and is run by Coffs Support Service where younger people with disabilities work in order to get back into the work force. HACC clients can get a subsided ticket which entitles them
to a $5.50 lunch. Everyone is welcome.

Coffs Harbour, Bellingen & Nambucca Community Transport

Coffs Harbour, Bellingen & Nambucca Community Transport is a non-profit community organisation that provides a range of transport services for the elderly, people with disabilities and carers who have difficulty using public transport and do not have their own transportation.

We provide our clients with personalised and flexible transport options and rely on a dedicated and caring team of volunteers as well as paid drivers. Our fleet offers solutions for varying requirements and we have wheelchair accessible vehicles, buses and mini buses.

Commonwealth Respite & Carelink Centre MNC

RESPITE SERVICE: 24 hour respite service. Provides information/advice to carers about respite options, plus referral to services. Coordinates short term emergency or planned respite. Purchases respite when there is no alternative. Out of hours service ie. nights/weekends and phone for crisis situations. Also have 16 Consumer Directed Care Packages for Carers of a person who is frail aged or has dementia.

Counselling Services Incorporation (CSI)

Counselling Services Incorporation (CSI) is a volunteer organisation, offering free, unlimited and confidential counselling sessions by trained counsellors and provisional psychologists to everybody (individuals, couples and families) in the community. We operate at neighbourhood centres in the Coffs Harbour area. Referrals and self-referrals are welcome.

Lifeline North Coast

Lifeline North Coast (NSW) provides a telephone crisis support service. The service is delivered by volunteers who are skilled and equipped to assist those who call by providing support to people in crisis and referral options.

This service has been operating in Coffs Harbour for over 25 years. We also have a sub-centre in Grafton.

VIEW Clubs of Austrlia

VIEW stands for Voice, Interests and Education of Women. We meet monthly for either lunch or dinner and to enjoy friendship and socialising as well as often having a guest speaker. We also have other monthly social gatherings with coffee or meals. Some of our clubs meet during the day while others meet at night so there is bound to be one which meets your needs.

Vision Australia is the leading provider of blindness and low vision services in Australia. It supports thousands of people who are blind or have low vision, of all ages, in the home, school or work so they can live the life they choose.
For children who are blind or have low vision, specialist staff, the child and family work together in their environment to facilitate the transition into mainstream pre-school/kinder, primary school, high school, further education and onto employment.
