Commonwealth Respite & Carelink Centre MNC

RESPITE SERVICE: 24 hour respite service. Provides information/advice to carers about respite options, plus referral to services. Coordinates short term emergency or planned respite. Purchases respite when there is no alternative. Out of hours service ie. nights/weekends and phone for crisis situations. Also have 16 Consumer Directed Care Packages for Carers of a person who is frail aged or has dementia.

Counselling Services Incorporation (CSI)

Counselling Services Incorporation (CSI) is a volunteer organisation, offering free, unlimited and confidential counselling sessions by trained counsellors and provisional psychologists to everybody (individuals, couples and families) in the community. We operate at neighbourhood centres in the Coffs Harbour area. Referrals and self-referrals are welcome.

Genwire

The Genwire website has been created through a partnership between the Mid North Coast Regional Council for Social Development and Arts Mid North Coast. The website consists of two youth related platforms, Genwire Infohub and Genwire Artspace.

Harry Bailey Memorial Library

Central library of Coffs Harbour City Library and Information Service (Coffs Harbour City Council).

Free membership, loans, public access computers, free wifi/internet, study areas and printing/copying/scanning facilities.

Weekly children's storytime, early literacy programs, home library service for housebound residents, reference service, inter-library loans and regular programs and events - such as author talks and holiday activities. Annual Summer Reading Club for children in December/January.

headspace Mid North Coast

headspace Mid North Coast helps young people aged 12 - 25 going through a tough time by providing access to youth friendly general health, counselling and wellbeing services offered by youth friendly doctors, psychologists, counsellors, mental health nurses, psychiatrists and youth workers.

headspace MNC is a voluntary, early intervention service open Monday - Thursday, 9am to 5pm and Friday, 8:30 to 4:30pm and temporarily located at the Womens Health Centre at 74 Victoria Street.

Heartbeat's Coffs City Mission

Providing care and assistance to those in need within our community through Heartbeat Market, Heartbeat Church and Heartbeat House.
Services include -

Retail trade training Furniture, Manchester, Clothing assistance Senior's Free computer training and access to broadband internet services Christian Counselling Free Marriage Celebrant Services for those wanting a Christian Church Wedding Service.

Northcott Disability Services

Community Participation Program - Individual. This program is tailored to the individual, by developing an Individual Program Plan. It focuses on what skills, goals, interests and strategies the individual wishes to achieve.

*Community Participation Program - Group. The group program is facilitated in a small group setting to provide opportunities for people to work towards achieving greater independence, building self-esteem and confidence and participating fully in community life.

Peaceful Parenting

Peaceful Parenting offers parents proven communication and relationship building skills, techniques and knowledge around parenting children of all ages and dispositions. We aim to support clients to live happier and a healthier life through thriving connections within themselves, their children and intimate relationships. We support parents in becoming confident and connected with their children and raise resilience in families.

Workskil Australia Incorporated is a not-for-profit organisation that has been working with disadvantaged Australians for over 30 years.
